Monica joined Southern Towers in 2026 as the Controller. Prior to Southern Towers, Monica held a number of increasingly senior accounting and finance positions with firms in Oklahoma and Georgia before returning to the Chattanooga area to be close to family. Monica brings strategic and results-driven accounting knowledge with 15+ years of progressive experience leading financial operations, month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives across manufacturing, energy, healthcare, nonprofit, construction, and commercial real estate industries. She has been professionally recognized for strong business acumen, adaptability, and the ability to stabilize and improve accounting functions during periods of transition and growth. Her strengths include expertise in multi-entity and international accounting environments, audit coordination, cross-functional collaboration, and staff development.
